Hi my name is Alexis Pettis! I’m a 2021 point guard from Southern California that loves the game of basketball. I play for Palisades Charter High School Girls Basketball under Head coach Adam Levine were me and my team have won 2 La City Section Championships and 1 Regional Championship with our State Championship game canceled by the Covid 19 Pandemic. I also play for California Storm in the Elite Youth Basketball League under George Quintero in the summer season. I have been playing the game of basketball since the age of 5 and it was love at first sight. One of my biggest inspiration when I play is Chelsea Gray because I identify with her upcoming and it inspires me to push harder for the things that I want . I also look up to Kobe because he taught  that there is something to learn in every experience on and off the court, win or loose.  In addition to my basketball aspirations school is a very important aspect in my life. I now enjoy various math and science courses at school and especially excel in more  mentally creative classes like drawing and art. In the future I look forward to study kinesiology to take a step forward towards a potential career. Branching out to meet new people and soaking Up the college experience excites me for the future.
